Cathy’s Crazed Institute of GoDisco brings DiscoRobics to Melbourne for those who take life less seriously and love to dance.

“Laughter is the best medicine, so it makes sense that having fun is the best way to get fit,” said founder and disco diva Cathy Stevens.

“DiscoRobics is designed for fun - dancing to classic disco tunes, working up a sweat and taking a break from the seriousness of life.”

The 50-minute classes are set to disco classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s and combine the physical benefits of aerobics with the fun of a night out.

Classes can be taken at an individual place, so if you feel like a teenager again you can shake your groove thang a little bit harder; if you just want to enjoy the music, that’s great too – as long as you’re having fun, you’re doing it right!

DiscoRobics is also perfect for getting together with a group of friends or a regular girls night out.

Term 4 2016 - DiscoRobics meets Madonna's 'Holiday' (Starting 12 October 2016)

Come to as many DiscoRobics classes in Term 4 (10 weeks) as you want & stay for a little longer to learn Madonna's 'Holiday' as your next party trick.

As always the focus is on having fun with no technique, dance experience or partner required. Just bring yourself, a great attitude and let loose with like minded people. (I could add here that a 20 year study has shown that this type of dance is better for your mind than Suduko but that would be VERY unDisco).

If commitment is not your thing come along for $17 per DiscoRobics class.

Spaces are limited so reserve your spot at: Thornbury

DiscoRobics FAQ's

How long do classes go for?

Classes run for 50 minutes.

What can I expect?

You can expect a quick warm up (if you know you have any ailments then make sure to warm up these bits prior), learn some wild and whacky dance moves and then let yourself go as you follow along to disco classics (or you can freestyle if that’s your thing).  You can adapt dances to your fitness level by adding a bit more bounce if you need to burn off excess energy or step it down if you're one of those laid back types of people that's looking to enjoy the time and the music.

How much does it cost?

All this fun is had for a measly price of $110.00 for Term 4 or $17.00 per class for a casual class (which doesn't including the additional 5 min lesson at the end for 'Holiday').
